Practice founder and Clinical Director of Burscough Neuro Physiotherapy Anita Wade-Moulton, started the practice in 1989 mainly due to her starting a family and having a great desire to continue her work in the field of Neuro Rehabilitation whilst also spending time with her young family.

Her full time work heading a rehabilitation in and out patient unit in the NHS was not to continue so here came the birth of the then 'Burscough Physiotherapy'.

It was soon evident there was a demand for specialist rehabilitation in the community, therefore the practice began to grow and with it a need for Anita to build her own team of specialist neuro Physios treating patients in the Lancashire and Mersey regions.

20 years on there are eight specialist neuro physiotherapists with over 100 years of experience to bring to our patients.

In 2009 we celebrate 20 years of practice and the opening of our brand new rehabilitation centre in Ormskirk. We can now offer patients a comprehensive service both in the community and at the centre.

In addition the rehabilitation centre addresses patents other health care needs such as Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, Chiropody, Reflexology, Orthotics, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Podiatry and Acupuncture.

Over the past 20 years we have specialised mainly in the field of neurological rehabilitation. We continue to gain knowledge through experience and keeping ahead of cutting edge developments in rehabilitation which makes us proud to be one of the country's leading practice's in neuro Rehabilitation.
