Emily Potter

Emily joined the Burscough Neuro Physio team in 2025, having gained her Physiotherapy qualification at St George’s University in London in 2015. She brings with her 10 years of clinical experience and has been an excellent addition to the practice. Known for her calm, patient-focused approach, she combines expert clinical knowledge with genuine compassion to help clients achieve meaningful progress and greater independence.

Currently working as a Rehabilitation Coordinator at The Walton Centre in Aintree, Emily supports patients across both the Hyper-Acute and Complex Rehabilitation Units. Her specialist experience includes working in Neurological ITU, Complex Trauma, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Stroke Rehabilitation, Neurovascular, and Neuro-oncology settings. She has also worked extensively in elderly care, orthopaedics, and medical rehabilitation at leading NHS hospitals in London and Liverpool.

Emily takes a holistic and collaborative approach to physiotherapy. She is passionate about empowering her patients – tailoring each treatment plan to suit their personal goals, lifestyle, and recovery journey. In her free time, she enjoys keeping active by swimming, cycling, hiking, Pilates and playing tennis, and winding down by doing jigsaws and relaxing with her cats.
