Anita Wade-Moulton  – Clinical Director

Anita qualified from Bradford School of Physiotherapy in 1982. She then went to work at junior level in Bradford, within a very short time she realised her passion was in neuro rehab Physiotherapy. View profile

Monika Boros

Monika came to the UK from Hungary, and is an outstanding Rehab Physiotherapist. She has completed the Bobath introductory courses with Burscough Neuro Physiotherapy. View profile


Audrey Bramford

Audrey graduated as a Remedial Gymnast from Cardiff University Hospital of Wales in 1983, then again as a Physiotherapist 3 years later. Her interests and expertise has always been with the speciality of Neurological Physiotherapy and has studied the Bobath Concept closely and has Advanced Certification in this subject. View profile


Sarah Bennett

Sarah qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from Brighton University in 1996. She worked at University Hospital Aintree in various posts for 17 years. She is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of various neurological conditions and utilizes a range of techniques such as Bobath; Carr and Shepherd and hydrotherapy. She has completed numerous specialised neurological courses, and conducted research, audit, lectures and service development throughout her career. Sarah has worked as a full time clinical specialist for Burscough Neuro Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation centre since 2013 and is a valued member of our team.


Oliver Basilotte

Oliver qualified as a Physiotherapist in the Philippines in 1998 and since then has developed his skills and expertise in the areas of Neuro Physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Oliver started working for the NHS at Southport Hospital in 2004 and has continued to work in the field of Physiotherapy in this country. He has also completed training in the Bobath method. Oliver joined us in 2018 and has been a great addition to the team.


Kayleigh Clitheroe

Kayleigh first trained in Physiotherapy at the University of Salford achieving a 2:1. She graduated in 2008 and got her first job at Royal Lancaster Infirmary where she worked for 4 years gaining a wide breath of experience and knowledge in physiotherapy. Kayleigh left to join Spiral Health CIC in 2012 as a rehab physio in the Blackpool area. She has completed a number of courses in Bobath and trained as a Moving and Handling trainer and gained leadership and management qualifications. Kayleigh joined us in 2018 and has been a great asset to the team.


Liz Fisher

Liz initially qualified as a Physiotherapist from Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre in 1983 and subsequently worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist in the NHS and in private practice (1983-2003). During this time Liz gained experience by working in many different specialities including neurology, hydrotherapy, and orthopaedics and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions. After a career break Liz returned to physiotherapy, initially working as a physiotherapy assistant at Aintree and Southport Hospitals and subsequently specialising in the treatment of patients with neurological conditions. Liz joined us in 2017 – an excellent addition to the team.


Rachel Holden

Rachel trained at the University of Salford and shortly after completed her Bobath training. Rachel worked at Spiral Health CIC as a Senior Physiotherapist where she gained in-depth knowledge and experience specifically in Neuro Physiotherapy and intermediate rehabilitation. Rachel prides herself on her ability to build a close rapport with her patients to build a deeper level of trust enabling her to better tailor sessions to suits patients’ needs. Rachel joined us here at Burscough Neuro in 2018 and is a valued member of the team.


Rachel Jones

After completing a degree in microbiology and numerous work experience placements in the hospital setting Rachael decided that she wanted a career working with people. In 2002 Rachael gained a degree in physiotherapy at Birmingham University and following qualification began to work as a rotational and then senior physiotherapist in the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospitals.


Andrea Martin

Andrea graduated from the Liverpool School of Physiotherapy in 1991 and has worked for the NHS trust since 1997 at both St Helens hospital and Aintree hospital. Andrea is a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist and has completed training in Bobath and BBTA problem solving with specialist skills in Neurological rehabilitation. She also has management and leadership experience. Andrea takes a patient focused approach supporting people to reach their full potential. Andrea joined us in 2018 and we are lucky to have her as part of the team.


Jack Moulton

Jack qualified from Sheffield Hallam university in 2013 and has gained a wide range of experience working in the NHS and private sector. He has gone on to specialise within Neuro Physiotherapy and has undertaken a variety of post-graduate development courses within the field of neurology.


Joanne Pretten

Joanne qualified as a Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist in 1989 from Withington Hospital School of Physiotherapy, Manchester. She began her career at Royal Preston Hospital where she worked for 11 years. View profile


Kate Rawsthorne

Kate qualified from Sheffield Hallam in 2000. She worked at Rotherham Hospital as a junior and moved to University Hospital Aintree in 2002 where she still works part time today.
She has an interest in neurological conditions and older persons rehabilitation and is a member of AGILE and ACPIN and has experience in hydrotherapy. Kate has completed many post graduate courses including the Basic Bobath course and her MSc in Neurological Physiotherapy which she finished in 2011.


Lesley Wharton

Lesley qualified from Salford School of Physiotherapy in 1987. She then worked at Southport Hospital as a junior until gaining a senior post in 1989. View profile


Shelley Woodward

Shelley graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010 after completing her pre-reg Master’s degree in physiotherapy – following on from her undergraduate degree in Psychology & Neuroscience at Liverpool University.
She initially worked for Metro Health and Wellbeing where she developed her skills specifically in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation for several years. She then left to work at Bowerfield Court Nursing home where she offered in-house Neuro Physio assessments & rehabilitation.
After a period of NHS Orthopaedic & Neuro Physiotherapy work, she became part of the Burscough Neuro Physiotherapy team back in July 2013, where she has continued to focus on developing her Bobath training techniques. Shelley is an exemplary physiotherapist who is highly motivated with continued professional development with the patient at the heart of her work.


Jacqueline Foster – Herbalist and Complementary Therapist

Jacqueline is a fully qualified Herbalist and Complementary Therapist. She graduated with an honours degree in Herbal Medicine and qualified as a therapist in the art of Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage. She is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists which was established in 1864 and is the oldest body of practicing medical herbalists in the world.


Pam Stretch  – Reflextherapist

Pam trained at Withington School of Physiotherapy, Manchester. After qualifying she worked in a general hospital and a special school in this country. Between 1972 -’74 she worked in a private clinic in Northern Norway where she helped to establish the first nursery unit in the town for children with special needs.
